ASIN – Amazon Standard Info Number
Each Amazon product has a unique 10-character alphanumeric identifier used only within Amazon.
ASINs can be grouped as a parent (main item) with multiple child ASINs (variations like size, color, pack).
B Terms starting with B
BSR – Best Seller Rank
The order/rank of a product within its category, updated hourly based on recent and historical sales. New items may show “None.”
Bundle
A group of complementary products sold as a single ASIN unit.
Buy Box
The primary “Add to Cart” purchase option on a product detail page. Winning it depends on factors like price, stock, shipping speed,
seller performance, and customer service metrics.

Category Page
A landing page for a specific group of products on Amazon (e.g., Books, Electronics, Toys & Games).
Child ASIN
A buyable variant of a parent ASIN (e.g., size or color). All child ASINs should appear on a single detail page under the parent.

DP – Detail Page
The product page for an ASIN on Amazon, displaying the title, price, bullets, description, images, and customer reviews.

Existing Customers
Audiences who have purchased or repurchased your brand or items on Amazon.

Lost Buy Box (LBB)
Clicks on a detail page where Amazon Retail loses the Buy Box to third-party (3P) sellers.

Parent ASIN
An ASIN used to group multiple buyable variations on one detail page (e.g., color, size, flavor, scent). Each variation is a child ASIN.

Sales Rank
Amazon’s internal ranking of products in search and browse.
Seller Central
Amazon’s platform for third-party sellers to manage listings, inventory, advertising, orders, and support.
Storefront
A branded store within Amazon (your “mini-site”) that showcases your catalog and brand story.

UPC – Universal Product Code
